When you grow up in a cattle ranching and farming community, you know there's gotta be country music. Reuben Whetten is a young independent country singer-songwriter from Chihuahua, Mexico. He is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He uses past experiences and made-up experiences to write these amazing songs you do not want to forget, and you can be singing along to them in the car!


Sitting on the stair-steps outside, listening to chickens cluck, goats bleat, horses neigh, birds chirp, dogs bark, and hear vehicles drive by, Reuben is playing that sweet sweet acoustic guitar and with a notebook and pen (or his phone), he'll write whatever comes to mind.

Though his music production skills aren't at it's finest and his music isn't the best quality, he sure does put his effort and time into making his music sound good and different from what you hear nowadays.
