When was the first time you actually played in Arkansas?

 

My first musical appearance in Arkansas was when I played a few songs for some friends. My friend, Drake, who's 8 years old, helped me write the first verse of my song named Texan In Me. He was so excited about everything. He found out that I had a YouTube channel and that I was selling CDs. The guitar I borrowed out in Arkansas only had 5 strings. The 3rd one had broken, so I had to take it off. I asked if they had a new string I could put on, but they didn’t have one. I dealt with it, and it didn’t sound so bad not using that string, 'cause I didn’t really use it. The next day, I was playing the missing-stringed guitar in the back of the truck with my siblings and my friends. I was playing some songs from the In Those Boots - EP. My friend, Kimber, filmed some videos of me singing and playing and posted a few of them on TikTok and sent them on Snapchat to show her friends. My mom has been telling me that Drake has been telling his friends at school about me, my YouTube channel, and my CDs. I’ve been checking on my Spotify artist account analytics daily, and I’ve seen that I’ve been getting a ton of cities in Arkansas that are listening to my music.
